What is Skin Rejuvenation Laser?
The Carbon Rejuvenation Laser is a fractional, ablative laser that effectively targets acne scars, large pores and uneven skin tone.
The Rejuvenation Laser emits thousands of tiny microthermal beams on treated areas that is able to penetrate deep into the layers of the skin, creating thermal injury zones without damaging the surrounding tissues.
Through this, skin texture and scar appearance will become noticeably smoother as new skin and collagen forms during the healing process. Over time, depressed acne scars, fine lines & wrinkles are levelled out.

Treatment Protocol
In Astute's Carbon Rejuvenation Laser treatments, we apply a numbing cream 30-45 minutes prior to the laser treatment. This is to ensure that minimal discomfort is felt and patients are able to find the session comfortable.
The treatment itself is usually quick, and completed within 10~20 minutes, depending on the targeted areas of concerns.
Post-Treatment
After the treatment, it is normal for clients to experience pain and redness, skin peeling, swelling and spots on the targeted areas. All these effects are normal and will subside over the course of a few days.
We do encourage our patients to use a gentle cleanser, moisturer and sun-screen throughout the healing process, and to not use exfoliating scrubs or retinol-based products until fully healed.
Cold packs are encouraged to be used to reduce skin redness or swelling, and execcesive exposure to the sun should be limited during the healing process.
